Centrix Corp. (the “Company” or “We”) respects Your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). This Policy is designed to inform You of how the Company will compile, use, maintain, protect, and disclose Your personal information. The Company reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time.

This Policy applies to all transactions and data or information transmission that occurs with and through the Company’s mobile Application Schoolpay (the “Application” or “App”). This Policy does not apply to information that we collect offline or on any other Company Application or website, including websites You may access through this Application, information that You provide or which is collected by a third party or other sources.

By downloading, registering with, or using this Application, You accept the terms and conditions and practices described in this Policy, as well as our Terms of Use, which are incorporated by reference into this Policy. If You do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, register with, or use this Application.

  1. Definitions as use in this Policy

“Confidential Information” means all nonpublic information disclosed by the Company, its subcontractors and affiliates, and/or accessible through the Application, that is designated as confidential or that, given the nature of the information or circumstances surrounding its disclosure, reasonably should be understood to be confidential, including but not limited to source code, financial data and non-public personally identifiable information.

“Service” means the Application and related services available to You.

“Your Content” means any data, or other content that You may (a) provide to us, (b) make available to any end users in conjunction with the Service, or (c) develop in connection with the use of the Service.

“Affiliates” means companies controlled by a common owner.

The Application collects information because it helps to design, improve and deliver a superior level of service. Your Content enables the Application to give You convenient access, and make the Service efficient and accurate.

  1. Information the Application collects and how

We collect information from and about users of our Application. The information collected includes information that You provide by filling in forms in the Application, such as during registration and subscription, and information that is acquired automatically when You use the Application.

The Application will ask You for information when You download, register with, use or perform any process or transaction through the Application. The type of information collected by the Application will be relevant to the situation. This may include:

  • Telephone number

  • Account activity (bank account, credit and debit card numbers)

  • Location Information. This App may collect real-time information about the location of Your device.

  1. The use the Application may give to the collected Information

The main purpose of accessing and using Your information is to provide users with a great experience and conduct daily operations. We use Your information to fulfill any purpose related to the Application, its contents and any other information or services that You request from us, including billing and/or collection transactions.

The usage information we collect, such as audience size and usage patterns, helps us to improve our Application and deliver a better and more personalized experience.

We may communicate directly with You using the e-mail address(es), mailing address(es), and phone number(s) to:

  • Confirm Your transactions

  • Provide information on future events of interest

  • Deliver information regarding account notices, such as expiration, renewal and administrative

  • Update You on changes to any services we offer

  • Update You on modifications to the Application, Agreements and/or this Policy

  • Deliver communications relevant to Your use of the application.

  1. Application’s disclosure of the collected Information to third parties

The Application shall not sell or rent the collected information to third parties. Notwithstanding, the Application may share or disclose Your Content with legal entities within its Affiliates who will take steps to safeguard it in accordance with this Policy. These companies shall be prohibited from using information for any unauthorized purposes and are also obligated to protect the information in accordance with this Policy, except if we inform You otherwise at the time of collection.

The Application may also disclose your personal information with the Organization you are intending to do business with in order to promote enrollment into the service. The Application also reserves the right to disclose Your Content for any reason if the Application, in its sole discretion, believes that it is reasonable to do so for law enforcement, litigation or to satisfy laws, regulations, or governmental or legal requests for such information. The Application may also disclose personal information that is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the Application’s contracts, policies and procedures.

Finally, the Application may also disclose Your Content for national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary.

  1. Protection of Collected Information

The Application takes precautions, including administrative, technical, and physical measures consistent with current industry standards, to safeguard Your Content against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Any payment transactions and other billing information will be encrypted.   Unfortunately, the transmission of information via a mobile platform is not completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of Your personal information transmitted through our Application. Any transmission of personal information is at Your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures we provide.

Where we have given You (or where You have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our App, You are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask You not to share Your password with anyone. You can help the Application by taking precautions to protect Your Content when using the Service, such as changing the passwords often using a combination of letters and numbers.

While the Application shall make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of the Product, the Application cannot guarantee that its security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining Your Content.

  1. Collection and Tracking Technologies

Cookies (or mobile cookies) are small files placed in Your smartphone. This enables the application to remember Your actions and preferences over a period of time, carrying information from one visit to the next.

It may be possible to refuse to accept mobile cookies by activating the appropriate setting on Your smartphone. However, if You select this setting You may be unable to access certain parts of our Application.

The Application does not enable “Do Not Track” technology.

  1. The rights You have over the Information collected by the Application

You can access and manage the information collected by the Application.

You may update, correct or delete the information provided to the Application. If You wish to delete the information that has been collected, You can do so by sending an email to: info@centrix.com.

You may ask to have the information on Your account deleted or removed; however, You cannot delete information associated with past transactions because we keep track of past transactions.

  1. Changes to this Policy

The Application reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this Policy at any time and in any manner. We may update our Policy from time to time; Your continued use of this Application afterwards is deemed to be acceptance of those changes.

If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will post the new Policy on this page with a notice that the Policy has been updated and notify You by an in-App alert the first time You use the Application after we make the change and/or email and/or text message to the primary email address and/or phone number specified in Your account. 

Your use of the Application and any other services provided by the Application after such changes are implemented constitutes Your acknowledgement and acceptance of these changes. Please consult this Policy prior to every use for any changes.

By using the Application, You consent to the collection and use of the information in the manner the described above. This Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the Application Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict between this Policy and said Terms of Use, this Policy shall prevail as to privacy matters only.
